We are a family-operated mental health practice, providing an array of services to improve the lives of families in central Indiana.

Our Philosophy

We believe that mental health services should be delivered in a respectful, caring manner in an atmosphere of warmth and genuine concern. These characteristics should be present regardless of a client’s age, problems, or life circumstances. All persons are worthy of the utmost respect and this is foremost in the minds of our staff when planning and delivering services.

Our Methods of Counseling and Therapy

Our staff offers personalized one-on-one counseling sessions, play therapy, trauma-based therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, just to name a few.

Our History

LPS Behavioral Health, formerly Liberty Psychological Services, was founded in 1989 by Dr. Floyd Robison. Dr. Robison has extensive experience and expertise in providing testing and assessment services. He has been a consultant examiner for Social Security Disability for over twenty years.

Since 1989, our practice has grown steadily and continues to expand into new areas. We have added experienced therapists to our team and we are always happy to work with candidates who are seeking an internship experience. A new addition to our practice, we are pleased to offer mental health medical services for our clients. We have two qualified psychiatric nurse practitioners on our staff.

You can view and download our intake packet below. Feel free to read the information, then complete the intake form and bring the entire packet to your first appointment with us.

You should complete the Release of Information Authorization Form if you want us to receive information about you from another mental health agency, or send information about you to another agency. We will be happy to explain these procedures during your first appointment.
